The Patient Registration Supervisor supports and assists the Patient Registration Operations Manager in all functions of Patient Registration and Telecommunications including but not limited to scheduling, assisting Healthcare Access Associates with questions, handling call ins, patient complains and other duties requested by Manager.


  1. Have a strong presence in all registration areas by rounding all areas consistently answering questions, observing, providing input/feedback and soliciting questions/feedback from staff.
  2. Assists with being a liaison between patient registration and other departments for issue resolution and communication.
  3. Troubleshoot and fix issues with encounters brought forth by staff.
  4. Identify and document common staff errors.
  5. Participate in call rotation taking issue calls and sick calls and finding replacements for shifts as needed.
  6. Order and monitor supply usage in all registration areas.
  7. Assist with registration and switchboard schedules as requested by Patient Registration Operations Manager.
  8. Participate in staff evaluations (both input and delivery) as requested by Patient Registration Operations Manager.
  9. Assist with disciplines as requested by Patient Registration Operations Manager.
  10. Other duties as assigned.


  1. AA Degree in Business or Healthcare related field preferred.
  2. Certified Healthcare Access Associate preferred.
  3. One (1) year supervisory or leadership experience leading other staff preferred.
  4. Three (3) years healthcare experience required.
  5. Word, Excel required.
