Min Rate = $35.29 / Max Rate = $49.72. *Placement is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Units Agreement.   The Respiratory Therapist performs a variety of pulmonary diagnostic tests, including, but not limited to pulmonary function, arterial blood gas sampling & oximetery, FeNo testing.  In addition to the diagnostic testing a significant component of the position is the coordination and processing of DSME needs for clinic patients. The RRT works independently in the CVPH Pulmonary clinic under the guidance of the pulmonary clinic physicians.  

Min Rate = $60.06 / Max Rate (Sr. Level) = $93.49. *Placement is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Units Agreement.   The Emergency Department (Main) Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner practices under the clinical supervision of the Medical Director of the Emergency Department, demonstrates competency and efficiency in the care of the acutely ill patient.  This position demonstrates Emergency Department competency in assessing, diagnosing and treating  a full range of patients in accordance with delineation of privileges; Demonstrates ability to organize and prioritize patient care activities; Selects and interprets laboratory and diagnostic testing; Communicates medical assessment and plan to patient and attending physician; Completes medical record documentation in a timely manner.  The primary responsibility is the appropriate and timely performance of the medical screening exam, assessment and disposition of patients present to the Emergency Department.  Performs medical screening exam and deliver emergency medical care to patients within the CVPH Emergency Department within the scope of their credentialing with CVPH and following departmental protocols.

Min Rate = $25.32 / Max Rate = $36.71 *Placement is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Units Agreement.   An LPN/Operating Room Technician (LPN/ORT) is a member of the surgical team who acts as a primary scrub person and must be technically adept by handling the instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary before, during and after the surgical procedure. LPN/ORTs are required to perform all cases that surgeons perform. He/She may also circulate under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse. The LPN/ORT must be able to take call as scheduled, anticipate the needs of the surgeon, have excellent adaptation and coping skills, have excellent organizational skills and be a team player. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift patient and equipment with assistance of other personnel or without as need dictates. LPN/ORT must have excellent communication skills and maintains asepsis at all times. Must be able to serve as a resource person for certain specialties. Will assist directly with the orientation, training and serve as a mentor for new LPN/ORTs. Must be able to work closely with RNs in room and management about instrumentation and equipment for cases. Also will assist in education of all LPN/ORTs. LPN/ORTs will work primarily at CVPH main campus with assignments to Ambulatory Surgery Center.   The LPN/ORT can assist the Pre-op and Post-op areas by performing various duties under direction of unit director/manager or registered nurse. The LPN/ORT can assist in treatment and care of patients, collect blood and other patient samples, perform ECGs and assist in receptionist/clerical activities.

Min Rate = $43.31 / Max Rate = $64.10 *Placement is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Units Agreement.   Sign on bonus of $10,000 with a one year commitment.  Subject to applicable federal and state taxes. Paid out in equal installments at first pay, 6 months and 1 year.   Under general supervision of the Operations & System Manager, assists in surgical and autopsy pathology as required. Secures and prepares tissue for gross dissection and microscopic examination and study. Candidates who are licensed cytotechnologists will perform cytological examinations to the level of their experience. Candidates who are licensed medical technologists will perform moderately complex and complex testing as required.

Min Rate = $77,600.00 / Max Rate = $116,400.00    The Clinical Education Manager is responsible for working collaboratively across the organization with leadership and staff to ensure overall orientation, education and training for staff development and patient care delivery both in the classroom and at the bedside.  This individual displays competence in Adult Learning Principles and the 5 core health care competencies of interdisciplinary team work, quality improvement, evidence-based practice, patient-focused care and informatics.  They are a clinical and professional role model and demonstrates commitment to lifelong learning.  Responsibilities include educational program planning and delivery, compliance with regulatory standards, setting and maintaining standards of nursing care and practice, coordinating services, coaching for development and providing for professional growth of staff across multiple departments to meet needs of the organization.  The Clinical Education Manager works hours as needed to meet the needs of staff and organization to include consistent, visible presence on off shifts, weekends and holidays

Min Rate = $22.88 / Max Rate = $33.18 *Placement is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Units Agreement.   The LPN works under the general supervision of the Practice Supervisor, an Ambulatory RN or other licensed provider to deliver excellent patient care completing the duties and responsibilities of the position while complying with the HIPAA and CVPH confidentiality policies. S(he) is responsible to manage patient flow while supporting physician (s) to ensure efficient use of their time and minimize patient wait time. S(he) is responsible to perform operational and quality/risk management duties according to regulations and protocols. The position requires regular use of independent judgment to interpret and apply policies, procedures and practices.

Min Rate = $34.07 / Max Rate = $50.42. *Placement is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Units Agreement.   The Registered Professional Nurse is responsible for the management of patient care, utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate, and all care related activities, while maintaining standards of professional nursing collaborating with other disciplines as appropriate.

Min Rate = $17.90 / Max Rate = $25.96. *Placement is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Units Agreement.   Under the direction of the Practice Supervisor, the Patient Access Team Representative (PATR) will interview and collect patient demographic, and record it into the practice's EMR information system.  The PATR is also responsible for distributing required patient information in a confidential manner, scheduling the appropriate tests, follow up appointments, monitoring provider schedules, answering telephones and documentation in the EMR, ordering inventory and communicating with ancillary and clinical departments when necessary.  The PATR will manage all referrals to speciality practices and obtain prior authorizations from insurance companies.  PATR will work with insurance companies to maintain a working knowledge of changing insurance requirements; and update patient insurance info as verified.

Min Rate = $91,200.00 / Max Rate = $136,800.00   The Patient Care Coordinator is an RN who has administrative responsibility for the management of all patient services functions on their shift.  This person is responsible for primary census management, ensuring resource availability to meet census staffing needs on all shifts and transfer coordination for Patient Care Operations.  Their responsibility is extended to all hospital services, employees and properties in the absence of administrative personnel.  This individual displays competence in the 5 core health care competencies of interdisciplinary team work, quality improvement, evidence based practice, patient focused care and informatics.  They utilize management/leadership processes to communicate and help operationalize organizational philosophy, goals and objectives in the absence of each department’s leadership team.  This individual responds competently under stress, providing leadership and direction to staff throughout the system.  Daily management responsibilities require that one strategize effectively, possess a high degree of clinical competence, and be able to utilize interpersonal skills successfully when relating to patients and families, staff, peers, and colleagues throughout the organization.

Min Rate = $69.82 / Max Rate = $107.98 *Placement is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Units Agreement.   The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner shall assist and supplement the Psychiatric Staff Physician in the delivery of mental health care within the Adult and Child/Adolescent Units.  The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner can assess, diagnose, order appropriate diagnostic tests, develop treatment plans in conjunction with the psychiatrist, and treat patients presenting to the Unit in accordance with predetermined protocols and within the scope of psychiatry.  Psychiatric care delivery will support management of patients on Adult and Child/Adolescent Inpatient Units consistent with standards of care.  

Min Rate = $79,200.00 / Max Rate = $118,800.00    The Assistant Nurse Manager is the primary support person for the direction and coordination of the nursing care for a specific patient care area. The Assistant Nurse Manager collaborates in the assessment, evaluation, daily operations and planning for nursing care in the clinical area. She/he will carry out the outlined responsibilities with guidance from the Leadership Team. The Assistant Nurse Manager responsibilities will  include but not limited to participating in hiring and evaluation of staff, setting and maintaining standards of nursing care and practice, coordinating service for patients, providing professional growth of staff and clinical coaching on the unit and bedside with all staff. . The Assistant Nurse Manager shares joint responsibility for all outcomes of the unit to include patient satisfaction, employee engagement and fiscal responsibility.

Min Rate = $55.48 / Max Rate (Sr. Level) = $87.88 *Placement is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Units Agreement.   The Advanced Practice Provider works under the general supervision of the Practice Supervisor and the medical supervision of the physician(s) to provide excellent medical care completing the duties and responsibilities of the position while complying with HIPAA and CVPH confidentiality and other organizational regulatory programs and policies. S(he) is responsible to provide health care services as licensed professionals working within their defined scope of practice. This position requires regular use of independent judgment.

Min Rate = $39.53 / Max Rate = $41.90 *Placement is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Units Agreement.   Completes medically prescribed Occupational Therapy assessment, plans and implements treatment program, and reasseses patient status as indicated to restore function and/ or maximize ability following disease or disability. 

EMT-CC = Min Rate = $21.71 / Max Rate = $31.48. *Placement is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Units Agreement. EMT-Paramedic = Min Rate = $24.03 / Max Rate = $34.84. *Placement is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Units Agreement.   Pre-hospital:    The EMT (Critical Care) functions as defined by New York State Department of Health, Emergency Medical Services certification standards. Performs all duties as outlined by local Medical Control Protocols. Hospital:         The EMT (Critical Care) performs various duties as outlined in the Job Description, and assists staff nurses and physicians in the treatment and care of patients in accordance with the established policies and procedures of the Medical Center. All ambulance calls will take priority over the assignment.

Min Rate = $79,200.00 / Max Rate = $118,800.00   The Psychiatry Operations Supervisor is responsible for working collaboratively with the Director and other members of the care team, as applicable, to plan for, supervise and evaluate all program operations and patient care delivery in the clinical area.  The individual displays or is developing competence in the 5 core health competencies of interdisciplinary teamwork, quality improvement, evidence-based practice, patient-focused care, and informatics.  Responsibilities include organizational planning, compliance with regulatory standards, fiscal management, ensure units are staffed appropriately at all times, recruit staff as needed, review and post a 4 week schedule monthly, setting and maintaining standards of care in psychiatry, coordinating services, providing for the professional growth of staff, and coaching on the unit and the bedside with all staff.  They share joint responsibility with Director for all outcomes of unit to include but not limited to patient satisfaction, employee engagement and fiscal responsibility.  Psychiatry Operations Supervisors are expected to work holidays and weekends as needed.  Supervisor works with staff toward strategic goal of reducing turnover, overtime, high level incidents and response, flow improvement and empowerment/satisfaction of staff.

Min Rate = $31.12 / Max Rate = $46.06 *Placement is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Units Agreement.   Certification levels for Histology Technician and Histotechnologist are hierarchal and it is assumed that the technologist level encompasses knowledge and skills of the preceding technician level.  The Technologist has a general comprehension of the many factors that affect health and disease, and recognizes the importance of proper test selection, the numerous causes of discrepant test results (patient and laboratory), deviations of test results, and ethics including result confidentiality.  The Technologist is responsible for accurate, correct routine and stat tissue processing, to include embedding, microtomy, mounting and staining.  They will perform routine histology, as well as reagent preparation, special staining and immunohistochemical staining.  The individual should have an understanding of the underlying scientific principles of laboratory testing as well as the technical, procedural, and problem solving aspects. 

Min Rate = $28.14 / Max Rate = $40.80. *Placement is in accordance with the Collective Bargaining Units Agreement.   This position is responsible for providing repairs, preventive maintenance, QA, electrical safety installation and technical advice on a variety of clinical and non-clinical electronic and electromechanical equipment, including computers, printers, and secondary responsibility for Telecommunications equipment.

These responsibilities will include caring for Hospitalist inpatients, responding to calls from the nursing staff, assessing changes in condition, responding to changes in condition, ordering tests and images, interpreting tests and images, and ordering medications. The Hospitalist Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will also prepare discharges of patients and will prepare appropriate prescriptions, prepare discharge summaries, arrange follow up appointments and educate patients and families.
