The Assistant Nurse Manager is responsible for working collaboratively with the Manager to plan for, direct, supervise and evaluate all program operations and patient care delivery in assigned clinical areas.  This individual shares responsibility with the Manager for staffing/scheduling, staff performance and appraisal process, incident report review/follow-up, and quality/safety improvement activities.  The Assistant Manager is responsible for management/leadership of the unit/department in the absence of the Manager.  They share joint responsibilities with the Manager for all outcomes of the unit to include but not limited to patient and staff satisfaction.   This individual serves as a clinical resource for unit/nursing staff.  They are also responsible for monitoring/assessing clinical practice, guiding the development of standards of care and practice, and counseling/educating staff when practice deviates from standards.  The Assistant Manager provides performance appraisals for staff and helps to monitor progress of developmental plans.  This individual displays competence in the 5 core health care competencies of interdisciplinary team work, quality improvement, evidence based practice, patient focused care and informatives.  They will have consistent off shift presence and visibility.

Performs Radiologic procedures in a variety of settings and locations on patients as ordered by licensed providers, in an ethical and professional manner according to hospital and departmental policy, and according to any applicable New York State guidelines.  Must assist in all aspects of the Radiology Department operations.

This position is responsible for the repair, PM, QA, installation, modification and technical advice for all Radiologic, Laboratory, MRI, Ultrasound equipment, as well as other clinical and non-clinical equipment as assigned by the Manager of Clinical Engineering. This position is also responsible for implementation and maintaining the Medical Equipment Management Plan in accordance with JCAHO requirements.

The Hospitalist Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner shall assist and supplement the Hospitalist Physician staff by rounding to assess, diagnose, and treat patients as enabled by their training and experience under the supervision and support of the Hospitalist Medical Director. These responsibilities will include caring for Hospitalist inpatients, responding to calls from the nursing staff, assessing changes in condition, responding to changes in condition, ordering tests and images, interpreting tests and images, and ordering medications. The Hospitalist Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner will also prepare discharges of patients and will prepare appropriate prescriptions, prepare discharge summaries, arrange follow up appointments and educate patients and families.

This role will be working under the direction of the Patient Services Office Supervisor, and will assist in providing overall coordination of staff scheduling within the Patient Care Operations division through the preparation of unit schedules and staffing reports.  The Resource Specialist I maintains a computerized patient classification system which provides a basis for staffing recommendation and scheduling.   We are looking for a candidate who is customer service minded, a team player, strong computer skills, organized and a strong attention to detail. Previous scheduling experience desired but not required.   We have a variety of flexible schedules available. We typically support 12 hour shifts which allow for a more condensed work schedule which supports a great work/life balance, however, we have are open to discussing your shift needs. This role is for the night shift.     

Skilled Nursing Facility Licensed Practical Nurses work with our residents on SNF.   Salary Min/Max: $24.58/$35.64 LPNs may be eligible for a sign-on bonus of up to $7,500. The Perioperative Float RN is responsible for the delivery of wellness based, customer friendly care to patients using the nursing process. This RN assures a coordinated perioperative experience for patients before, during and after surgical/invasive procedures. This RN is responsible for care related activities of support personnel. This RN is accountable to meet the unique demands of a fast paced, competitive surgical environment meeting quality outcomes in an economically viable and customer friendly way. The focus of patient care will encompass pre-procedure preparation, intra-procedure patient monitoring and physician assistance, post procedure critical evaluation, anticipation and prevention of complications, effective pain management, and patient/family education. This RN maintains standards of professional nursing practice.   The Perioperative Float RN is Phase I competent, critically care trained and is responsible for the management and delivery of patient care utilizing the nursing process who require Phase I recovery and will transition patients to Phase II recovery level. Will require floating between main campus and Ambulatory Surgey Center.

External candidates are eligible for a one-time signing bonus of $10,000 (prorated for part time roles).
